The Majik Hour is a warm, unfiltered conversation space hosted by Majik9 – artist, doula, entrepreneur, and spiritual practitioner navigating multiple unconventional ventures in Portland. Each episode explores what actually matters: building wealth and independence, understanding yourself, showing up in relationships, making bold creative choices when there's pressure to conform.
This isn't someone talking at you. It's your homegirl asking the right questions, bringing her own stories and frameworks (astrology, Human Design, real life), sitting down with guests who are actually doing things, and creating room for listeners to think out loud.
The goal is simple: help people see themselves differently, say their truth, and build the life they actually want. Intimate. Honest. A little magic. A lot of realness.
Majik9 is a birth doula, artist, and entrepreneur building a life of her own design in Portland.
Raised by her grandmother, mother, and stepfather in Milwaukee and Chicago, she learned early what it takes to survive and thrive. Those experiences gave her deep wisdom about resilience, community, and what people actually need.
Her doula work means advocating for families, educating them through each stage of labor, and supporting them postpartum. Her music is how she processes and shares what she's learned.
Her creative work spans music, events, and other ventures—all in service of building community and joy for people who need it.
She uses astrology, Human Design, and tarot as real navigation tools. She's breaking generational patterns: poverty, emotional exhaustion, overgiving. She's learning sovereignty.
She creates spaces where people feel safe, worthy, and seen. And she does it all while building something that lasts.
