Club 130 is your home for “club music“
Club Music is a sub genre of House Music.
Originally propelled out of Baltimore, MD the music traveled and influenced producers an DJ’s in other regions to start making their own versions. Resulting in Philly and Jersey Club to name a few. Recently there has been an effort to unite all of these styles under just Club Music which we the Club 130 DJ’s embrace

DJ MPC
Born and raised in DC, DJ MPC's passion for music can be traced back to when she was just a young child. Her eclectic music taste stems from her parents instilling different music at an early age.
Her curious mind for exploring has led to extensive travels all over the world to understand different cultures, food cuisines, art, and music . Because of that, you can expect to hear a variety of genres during any of her sets. She bridges sounds and genres of the diaspora as a way of connection.
" My travels throughout the world have taught me that as people, we really are all the same for the most part. I want my sets and events to bridge cultures together. Where there are different backgrounds and people in a common space creating great experiences. Good food, good music, good weed is world peace in my opinion. I'm going to find ways in which I can use a combination of these to bring us together, because it is needed more than ever"
ambush
Over the length of my career I’ve worn a lot of hats. One of those was of a nightclub manager in North Philadelphia in the early 2000’s. Club 923 was a young adult club that attracted customers from all over Philly, across the bridge from New Jersey and as far south as Delaware.
Throughout the years we had a rotating roster of amazing DJ’s. But no matter who was in the booth once the clock hit 12:30 you were going to hear “Party Music” until the lights came on. The dance floor was immediately packed as people came pouring out of the bathrooms, running upstairs from the lounge area on the first floor and abandoning the non-alcoholic bar. And there I was with a front row seat to what I would later come to understand was the beginning of the Club Music movement by way of Baltimore Club. Not to long after that we started hearing Philly and Jersey club emerge into their sounds.
We DJ’s crave the type of music that’ll keep the dancefloor in motion. House music has consistently proven to be the at the top of the list. I’m so grateful to have been around to watch this genre emerge and l look forward to sharing those classics and new cuts with you.
8 Flat
DJ 8Flat is a Virginia-born, drummer-turned-DJ who blends Dancehall, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Baile Funk, and future beats into sets built like a story — not just song after song, but an arc with a beginning, a peak, and a payoff. His sound carries Atlanta trap's momentum and West Coast bounce, sharpened into a style that reads a room and keeps it locked in. He's held down Church Bar, Swift, Hey Love, White Owl, Society Hotel, and Lulu's, and has been featured on KBOO and The Numberz Radio.
